HOUSE BILL 1954
This is a totally anti-consumer piece of proposed legislation which the
insurance
industry and their lobbyists are trying to seek through a lame duck legislature.
House Bill 1954 will have an adverse effect on EVERY property owner in
the State of Pennsylvania.
THIS BILL IS DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO BECOMING LAW
The bill calls for the cancellation of a homeowner's insurance
policy if
2 or more claims are submitted within a 3 year period.
This will force homeowners to seek insurance in the secondary market
which will result in insurance premiums which are 2 - 5 times more expensive.
